NXT-150 - What do the lights mean?

 

Problem	Led	Card Type	Solution
No problem	Red light flashes shortly, then green light on	All opening cards
Time error	Red light flashes	Guest card, Floor card, Staff card	Adjust lock time and make card again.
Deadbolt extends	Red light flashes	Guest card, Floor card, Staff card	Check if red light flashes during the 3 seconds or use a Master Card to open. Retract deadbolt to solve the problem.
Wrong building, floor, or room number	Red light flashes	Guest card, Floor card, Building card	Read room creation card again and make new opening cards.
Card is canceled	Red light flashes	All cards	Read “Recovering card” to make the card valid again.
Card password error	Red light flashes	All cards	Card is probably not initialized.
Customer code error	Red light flashes	All cards	Software and lock read different Authorization Cards.
Room number is not cleared	Red light flashes	Room creation card	Read “Room info clearing card” before reading “Room creation card”.
Card is replaced /blocked	Red light flashes	All cards except Guest Card, Time card, Room creation card	Make card again and check “Block previous cards”
No card detected	N/A	All cards	Check if the lock sensor works, especially if the solenoid inside is not broken.
No card detected	Red light flashes	All cards	Put the card closer to the lock.
Authorization card error	Red light flashes	All cards	Turn mechanical key and read Authorization Card again.
Motor damage	Red light flashes shortly, then green light on	All opening cards	Disassemble the lock and change the motor
Out of battery	N/A	All cards	Keep pressing the latches, lock shall alarm; Turning mechanical key, red light shall be on.
