If you decide to send pre-arrival communications from the Communication tab manually, the pre-arrival communication will follow this process.
Skip the Front Desk option is available - Guests can request their key pre-stay and if approved by a Hotel Team Member, will receive a key prior to arrival.
PRE-ARRIVAL EMAIL TO GUESTS
When guests click on the "Confirm Reservation Details" button, they will be directed to a web form.
After confirming reservation details, two emails will go out simultaneously: one to the guest (with information specific to whether they opted for Skip the Front Desk or Traditional Check-in at the Front Desk) and one to the hotel.

Finally, the guest's information will show in the OpenKey HOST platform in the GUEST tab under all current, in-house guests.
