This Firmware update is necessary for all locks that have Firmware Version 1.51
We have discovered that clients (previous and current) with Firmware Version 1.51 on their door locks, will need a Firmware upgrade to 1.62 if they are purchasing or have purchased new plastic RFID keys or fobs.
If you have an older version of the key card encoder, you will need to upgrade to the new encoder before updating the firmware to any locks with Firmware Version 1.51. The new encoder upgrade is only compatible with the latest version of the IGRMS Software (1.0.41), which will also need to be upgraded.

If the lock has already been updated to 1.51 firmware:
Delete the current Imgate 1.51 DFU App located on your Android phone.
Once deleted, please proceed to download the latest version of the application with the following link:
Open the ImGATE DFU app. Ensure all permissions are accepted such as Bluetooth, Network Connection, etc.
Creating an Entrava BLE card will allow us to use this card to update the Firmware. IMPORTANT: an old RFID keycard will be necessary for creating a BLE Setup Key.
To do so, please complete the following steps in your IGRMS platform.
- Room setting → Setup Card → BLE Setup
- Put the older version keycard on the encoder and click the [Issue Card] button
Open the DFU App v1.62...
Use the BLE card to wake up the lock by tapping the lock with the card. The lock should provide blue lights and a jingle.
Quickly press the IG 3002 button and hold the phone up to the lock.
The app will search for the lock and download the latest version. The Android phone will vibrate when connected.
The app will start the upgrade. If the update fails, press the back button, and the app will restart the upgrade. Please wait up to thirty seconds before attempting to press the back button.
Once the update is completed, the confirmation screen will appear.
Your Imgate DFU App should now show the version of IG300_RMS_1.62_83
Now Please UPDATE The lock time using the link below:
*NOTE: If any guest cards are issued before the time update, they will need to be recreated for the keys to work.
Create a Plastic RFID Master Card
- Select day
- Select duration and time
- Click the [Issue Card] button
Please create a Guest Key for the Guest Room of your choice
- Double-click on the room. Select common facilities X
- Select Check-in/Out data (To set Check-in time as same as the current time select [Set current time] and to set Check-out date automatically select nights.)
- To issue several cards for the same room select [Save selected info]
- Click the [Issue Card] button
Use both the Master Key and the Guest Key on the lockset to ensure both function and open the door successfully. Once verified, label the BLE SET UP CARD. Please keep it in a secure place for future use. The MASTER CARD and the GUEST ROOM CARD can be reprogrammed for future use when all troubleshooting measures are completed.
