In order to transfer your existing key card making software ( IGRMS ) to another computer, you will need to do the following :
1. MAKE SURE THE TIME ON THE NEW COMPUTER IS CORRECT.
2. On the OLD computer, locate the version of the software that you are using:
3. Go to File explorer at the bottom of your screen :
4. Go to Downloads :
5. On the top right in the search bar type *msi
6. You should see files that look something like this (referencing IGRMS). You will need to download the software and drivers to a flash drive.
Please download anything which looks like the following and has your version of the software. You will need the software download as well as drivers for the encoder to work.
Examples :
7. Save to the flashdrive and then download to the new computer in the location of your choice (preferably (C:) ).
8. If the encoder is plugged into the new computer, please unplug and restart the new computer. Then, locate the software and login with your login credentials. Then, plug in the encoder again (or for the first time, if it wasn't already plugged in).
9. Create a test reservation and issue a key for a room to confirm that the encoder works.
